What a great first week here on the Sunshine Farm! We were introduced to a whole field of farmers, their tools, animals, and even started our own crop of vegetables in our classroom! Our Second Graders bloomed during the week as we learned the rituals and routines of our classroom. We have started our workshops, Reader's, Writer's ,Skills Block, Math, and Science! All of our students tried something new as we read, "Picky Ms. Pickle" and learned that Second Grade Farming might be different, but we can't be worried about new things, we just need to try them and we will like them!
